Situation

If the correct birthday is not known of the patient its hard to get a valid birthday date for the patient.
To simplify the input of this patient demographics custo diagnostic can allow the enter of the age of the patient only.

Settings

Open the Settings Page System\Database\Database (4.6.x or 5.x)
Enable the option "Age input" or "Use age instead of date of birth"

Workflow

Select "New Patient" (1)
Input the patient demographics First Name and Last Name (2)
Input "Age" (3) => the day and month of "Date of birth" is allways 01. 01.
