Introduction

This article describes how to configure a exercise station with or without a training device to perform a training in Rehab. A exercise station with custo guard but without a training device serves purely ECG for monitoring and is preferred used for telemetry.

Preparation

Enter the Settings Page "Device Connection" with Steps 1-3

Select the Number of Exercise Stations

Hint: If you want to use more than 8 exercise stations, 2 Monitors must be used.

Select "Type of exercises"

The most common setting is "Free exercies with Smart-Cards". It means that the patient selection takes place individually via the context menu on the Exercise Station main page.
"With smart card" means: if the ergometer has a smart card reader, the selection of the patient takes place by inserting the smart card into the ergometer.

Configure the Exercise Station

Preparations

Each exercise station must be configured individually. To configure an exercise station you have to select the apropriate exercise station.
By click on the arrow button, its possible to change from station to station.
Starting is always from No. 1 and goes up to the maximum set number of exercise stations.

Select the Training Device

Here you hate to assign a training device with integrated equipment like blood pressure measuring device, SpO2 sensor or and ECG amplifier to a exercise station.

  1. Click "Exercise device" in the list "Device list of exercise station"
  2. Select an exercise device (eg. Ergometer or Treadmill) from the list "Exercise devices" (see https://www.customed.de/docs/x/4gC also)
  3. If the training device has integrated options eg. chip card reader (smart card) or suction system (ECG device) you can enable or disable here these options.

Select an ECG Device

If the training device have an integrated ECG device you can add here the ECG device to the exercise station.

  1. Click "ECG" in the list "Device list of exercise station"
  2. Select the apropriate device from the list "ECG device"

Select the SpO2 Device

  1. Click "SpO2" in the list "Device list of exercise station"
  2. Select a device from the list "SpO2 device"

Blood Pressure

If you use a training device with integrated blood pressure measuring device no action is here required.
If you want to use an external blood pressure measuring device (eg. Metronik BL-6, for example in combination with a treadmill) you have to configure this device here.

  1. Click "BP" in the list "Device list of exercise station"
  2. Select a device from the list "Blood pressure measuring device"

Assigning guard

 

1: Click "ECG",  2: select "guard" and 3: Click "Save"


for fix Connection on the Trainingsplace:

Introduction: For a fast and effective work it is better to fix every single guard with a fixed training place.

The guards are sorted by the serial numbers and the lowest is assigned to training place 1 and for example the highest one to training place 16.

next Step:

First, each guard is labeled with the training place number. This number makes it easier to assign to the training site later.


Click "custo guard labeling" 


1: Click "Sort" means: it is sorted from the lowest to the highest serial number,  2: Enter the training place numbers 3: Click "Save"

1: activation the Setting "Allocate as fixed", 2 Enter "custo guard allocation"

Telemetry

Conditions:
Telemetry means: There is only ECG recording without training device control instead.
