Installation

For the installation of the custo router you can either give the router a fixed IP-Address or use DHCP.

The fixed IP-Address or DHCP can be set onto the custo router.  See attached picture, you need to add a HDMI monitor and a keyboard and mouse to the custo router.

Start the custo service center and open Langzeit-EKG

Enter the IP-Address for the custo router and Save the setting.

Enter the port number for the custo router, (default it is set to 8090) and Save the setting.

Set the use of the custo router on true and save this setting.

Create a Temporary folder, for storing the data from the SD card temporary, on the PC where all users on the PC have access to, this should not be a network drive.

Enter the directory into the Setting for Holter under Device and then Device-Connection:

Now you should be able to start a new Holter ECG using the custo router with a card reader.

custo router connected locally

in some occasions it might be useful to connect a custo router to a local PC using a USB to Network adapter.

We have written an instruction for this, using a Trendnet USB to LAN connector.

Open the Network connections form your control panel and go to the properties of the Ethernet 3 (Trendnet USB to LAN ) connector.

Choose properties and change the Internet Protocol Versoin 4 (TCP/IPv4) by double clicking on it.

Enter an unused private IP address for the Network, in our example I used 10.0.0.100 with a subnet mask 255.0.0.0 , make sure you safe the settings.

Choose a free IP address for the custo router and enter this in the custo router.( In our example we used 10.000.000.101 with the same subnet mask

Set the IP address in the service center from custo diagnostic

Restart the custo router and custo diagnostic.  Make sure you setup custo diagnostic according the made setting in the custo router.

We have set custoRouterHostName to 10.0.0.101, the custoRouterPort to 8090 and the UseCustoRouter to true.

Trouble shooting

In some occasions you are not able to connect to the custo router immediately.

Make sure the card reader was connected to the USB port of the router before the router has been switched on. Sometimes it would help you to just restart the custo router one more time.

If you are able to Ping the custo routers IP-Address you can also try to see if yo are able to access the card reader connected to the custo router.

To do so enter the following command into your browser http://<IP-ADDRESS CUSTO ROUTER>:8090/drive/list

When a SD card is in the drive it should respond with "sda"

If the custo router has been installed afterward, there might be a couple of settings that might affect the working of the card reader connected to the custo router.

Make sure that all of the above marked settings are set to "False" when using the custo router with card reader.

If the device is still not working you can send an E-mail to service@customed.de
